The Aseda Athlete Program has Launched

Aseda Athlete Logo

As leaders in their disciplines, the Aseda Athlete pushes the boundaries of what is possible by racing down snow packed mountains, climbing up cliffs, surfing crashing waves, and training across mountain passes. As leaders of cultural change, they recognize the opportunity to help their sporting community and the global community shift towards sustainability.

Our Aseda Athlete Program consists of a team of high performance athletes that travel the world as bee ambassadors. We are proud to announce Angel Collinson, Oakley White-Allen, Tanner Rosenthal, and Anthony Baron Kirk as the first members of our program. Together they carry the message of eco-sustainability and the nutritional benefits of Aseda raw honey.

All Aseda Athletes are outfitted with Aseda Wild Honey Energy Packs to provide a sustained boost of energy while competing and training. Aseda's raw honey energy packs carry our True Raw™ badge and are sustainably harvested by the Dagomba people in Ghana, Africa.

Raw Honey

"Akwaaba!" In the language of the Ashanti-twi and the Dagomba, we welcome you.

Our nutritional nectar comes from the Molé National Forest in Ghana, Africa. This is an area untouched by agri-farms, industrial plants, refineries, urban sprawl, or clear cutting forest operations. Our native Ghanaian honey bees (shown below) have been raised sustainably for generations by the Dagomba tribal people. It is our priority to bring this gift to the market while using our resources to protect the local habitat, promote bee populations, andsupport tribal living.

Our economic intentions are from a holistic standpoint. We are sharing our Earth’s most delicious, pure, wild, raw honey with the world; while operating from a position of sustainability, product ingenuity and community reciprocation. We believe in environmental and cultural preservation. Thus, we practice sustainable beekeeping, responsible honey harvesting, fair trade, and we support the Oregon Tilth Certification and the True Raw™ label. We are a member of 1% for the Planet Program and we donate 5% for the Villages of Molé.

Truly Wild Natural Raw Goodness

Aseda Wild Honey has a dark amber color and rich sweet flavor due to the pollen collected from shea trees and calabash fruit trees (shown below). A simple taste provides your mouth with essences of the prehistoric Molé forest and is packed full of minerals, vitamins, and anti-oxidants. This unfiltered raw nutritional nectar is a super-food, and the perfect replacement to refined sugar.

This is the darkest colored honey on the planet, and it has impressed many honey experts with its mineral rich nature. The benefits of using this naturally occurring sugar are covered in the health benefits section of our website.

We are proud to share this natural resource so pure and untouched by the modern world.

"Aseda!" In the language of the Dagomba, we express our gratitude.
