Raw Honey from Ghana

We created our "5% for the Villages of Molé" program to express our commitment to tribal solidarity and to create a cooperative exchange of services with the Dagomba. We work cooperatively with the tribal people in the northern region of Ghana, to promote sustainable bee keeping in the interest of the people themselves.
A bee keepers association, consisting of elected representatives of area villages, identifies village projects that promote education and self-sufficiency. Aseda dedicates 5% of proceeds from our product sales directly to the association to fund these village projects.
Aseda Wild Honey is raw forest honey produced by native Ghanaian honey bees using sustainable bee keeping practices. It is pure, unfiltered, truly wild, raw honey, collected from bee boxes placed inside the Molé National Forest. Wild Molé Honey is the darkest and richest colored honey, showing it possesses an abundance of rich minerals, and vitamins. The high antioxidant level is due to the relatively low moisture content (14% to 18%). Darker honey also contains more enzymes.
This beautiful dark amber is thought to be the healthiest honey with the greatest nutritional value. These attributes make Aseda Wild Honey a powerful superfood. The rich, unique, sweet flavor of Wild Molé Honey can thank the shea trees and calabash fruit trees from which the pollen is collected. One taste will leave your taste buds savoring the essence of Africa's remote forests.
